Thank you for getting your student involved in our distributed curriculum experiment! We're pretty much willing to accept any student work from your student as long as you, the parent, assure us that it was an acceptably difficult challenge for them. Several of the parents involved in this project are home-schooling parents, and we are happy to talk to you about ways for your child to qualify for a ticket for this event.
Feel free to email teachers@fuelpdxonfire.com to discuss curricular ideas appropriate for your child. We respect evidence of solid problem-solving, research and team-work (for groups) or diligence and excellent record-keeping (for individuals).

June 10th, 2010 - deadline to get independent projects approved
September 15th, 2010 - deadline for student work
